On November 29, Loca Loka tequila made its way to the city-state, adding yet another liquor brand that is gaining attention for its blend of traditional Mexican agave essence and the sweet and spicy notes of Indian cuisine. At the launch event in Singapore were Indian celebrities Rana Daggubati, Anirudh Ravichander and Harsha Vadlamudi, all of whom have a stake in the brand. Loca Loka tequila is available on UrbanFindr.
Loca Loka is a joint venture between three partners that include leading Indian film actor Rana Daggubati and renowned composer Anirudh Ravichander, along with seasoned entrepreneur Harsha Vadlamudi – Managing Partner – Ironhill India. The company has made its first venture into the AlcoBev industry with Tequila in August 2024 in the USA market. Starting with the recently announced handcrafted tequila brand, the team intends to launch several others in the space across the world. Each brand launched under this company will cater to a global audience.
Loca Loka’s initial offering are Tequila Blanco and Reposado. Crafted from 100% Agave in the renowned Jalisco region, the tequila is inspired by the blend of two vibrant cultures, India and Mexico. Loca Loka tequila is distilled from 100% pure highland agave and matured for over six years to achieve a perfect balance of sweetness and spice. Tequila Blanco has blends of the rounder fruity flavours of cooked agave, along with the earthier floral flavours of the Highland agaves and Tequila Reposado has a richer aroma and is aged in French and American oak barrels.
