Singapore Sling: The Iconic Cocktail from the Lion City

A drink with over a century of history, the Singapore Sling is more than just a tropical cocktail—it’s a symbol of Singapore’s bar culture and colonial past. Invented in 1915 at the legendary Raffles Hotel, this pink-hued drink has evolved into a Southeast Asian classic that blends tradition, flavor, and flair.

How to make it?

Ingredients:

  • 30 ml London dry gin
  • 15 ml cherry liqueur
  • 7.5 ml Cointreau
  • 7.5 ml Bénédictine
  • 10 ml grenadine
  • 10 ml lime juice
  • 120 ml fresh pineapple juice
  • Dash of Angostura bitters

Method:
Shake all ingredients with ice. 

Strain into a hurricane or highball glass filled with ice. 

Garnish with a cherry and a slice of pineapple.
