- To soon introduce Kingfisher Alto Gin – Contemporary Expression of the Italian Alps
Every remarkable spirit begins with a place. Kingfisher Alto Gin is born in Susa, at the gateway to the Italian Alps, where pristine alpine water and carefully selected botanicals shape its distinctive character. Crafted entirely in Italy by Rangoni Spirits, it represents a contemporary vision of Italian gin—elegant, authentic and designed for those who seek something beyond the ordinary.
But Kingfisher is more than a name. The Kingfisher is more than a symbol—it is the soul of Rangoni Spirits. It represents purity, precision and the timeless connection between water and nature, inspiring every bottle of Kingfisher Alto Gin. This philosophy is captured in a simple invitation: Escape from the Ordinary.
Every detail reflects this vision, from the distinctive bottle design to its refined botanical profile. Fresh juniper, bright citrus notes and alpine herbs come together to create a smooth, balanced gin that is equally at home in a classic Gin & Tonic or the finest contemporary cocktails.
Kingfisher Alto Gin has already gained international recognition for its quality and continues to expand into premium markets around the world. “Our ambition is not simply to export an Italian gin, but to share a brand with a clear identity, strong provenance and a distinctive point of view,” states Stefano Rangoni, the Global CEO of Rangoni Spirits.
Today, Rangoni Spirits is exploring the Asian market, starting with Singapore to introduce Kingfisher Alto Gin to one of Asia’s most dynamic premium spirits markets.
Rangoni spirits are made at the Distilleria Erboristica Alpina (Alpine Herbal Distillery) in Susa, a town west of Turin in the Piedmont region. Piedmont shares borders in the Alps with France and Switzerland and is home to the Val Di Susa. The Val di Susa is a long valley with tall mountain borders. At the north end of the valley are the Alps, where Italy meets France. The Distilleria Erboristica Alpina uses pure Alpine glacier water from over 3,000m (10,000 ft.) above sea level as the base for all of its spirits.
